Future Plc generates lots of profits, mostly by taking money from subscribers and then not fulfilling the promises they make, ignoring customers, then closing those distribution companies after a few years. Myfavouritemagazines, MyMagazine, MagazinesDirect, et al. That is (was) all Future Plc. Just take a look at those awful customer reviews.

As they describe it to their shareholders: "In recent years Future has focused on developing a strategy to diversify its revenue streams, ensuring that it maximises the opportunity to monetise more content distribution channels. It has created a proprietary technology stack coupled with a lean operating model that enables this to happen."

AVOID.

We took out a subscription for Photo plus as a gift. They failed to activate the direct debit so the magazine stopped being delivered. We took out a new subscription payment made at time of taking out. We have had numerous phone calls and emails about not receiving the camera bag gift. We have been assured the complaint has been escalated 6 times!! Still no resolution. Empty promises of getting back to us, it is a nightmare.

I subscribed to PhotoPlus The Canon Magazine and for doing so I was promised a Camera Shoulder Bag as a gift. Well Im still waiting after even after several phone calls and several empty promises. So I am still waiting. Been told its been escalated, which I dont believe and that the Bag has been dispatched.
Well if it does not arrive in the next 5 days I shall take legal action for miss selling and misrepresentation. So please people be aware..!!

why did I not read trust pilot before taking out a subscription???? Arghh......
This company is absolutely awful. Took out two subscriptions in the summer with a promise of a free gift. Never materialised and now six months late I am still chasing. They promise to call back, never do, promise the item will be delivered...never appears. There should be some way of taking this company to court.
Avoid like the plague....a definite rogue trader.

utter garbage since this company taken over planet rock subscription, promised the earth but failed to deliver. DONT TOUCH WITH A TEN FOOT POLE.

Ordered two subscriptions, charged but never received either magazine. No responses to complaints. Check out their Facebook page, they've defrauded plenty of other people over the past six months. Somebody needs to pursue criminal charges. This is outright fraud and they continue to take payments on their website and deliver nothing.

Awful company. Take your money and never fulfil orders, hiding behind another company now and make it impossible to contact them. They should be put out of business. A truly awful awful awful awful business - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Shameful site. Order retro gamer from them and got nothing. They want you to do all thier chasing up for then as opposed to them doing thier own work. Won't bother buying from them ever again

Do not order they are a scam company. Bought subscription for FourFourTwo for son and two months no magazine received. Standard emails explaining changing their distribution or something expect delays. Twenty min wait in their customer service line.

Totally hopeless , and now I know I’m not alone. Ordered on jun 20. Nothing received. When u emailed to ask , they told me to wait a few more weeks. It’s sep now and they even changed company to Magazinedirect. No reply as well. Useless!

I ordered a diet magazine from them on the 24th July 2020. It didnt arrive so I rang them, they couldnt find my order or any of my details. I emailed them so many times for a refund. Its now 18th August 2020, still no magazines. I rang them and they said wait till the end of the week, and then ring for a refund next week.
I took advice from the previous post and i got a chargeback from my bank.

I ordered a magazine from the store in April, Maximum PC and it still hasn't arrived. My order doesn't show in my order history and I've had no emails regarding dispatch. I emailed to complain, with the first email being ignored and a response to the second email saying they'd ask for another magazine to be dispatched. That was over a month ago and nothing has arrived yet.

Other magazines ordered from them have arrived, but they are incapable of delivering this one it seems.

This is a scam, they offer you a cheap 3 mags offer . You switch off auto renewal, but they still keep doing the auto renewals on your card. They DO NOT RESPOND to emails or whatever. Stay away from this !
